  • Another mistake is to get some person who dabbles in web site design to do the site on the cheap - their son's 10 year old friend or their friend's wife or some kid with a college diploma in graphic design (alhough they often aren't cheap)

    A typcal example is the school where my sister-in-law works as the computer teacher - after using parents, and parents friends and after five years they still do not have an effective web site, they want to send my sister-in-law on a web design course so that she can design the web site.

    All because they do not want to pay a professional to design the site for them!
